Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the services provided by Code Savant LLC ("Code Savant," "we"). By signing up or using Axis, you agree to them.

The service

Code Savant provides AI staff — starting with Axis, an AI receptionist that answers calls and messages, captures leads, books appointments, and (where you connect accounts) helps with content and email. Features depend on your plan and the accounts you connect.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the business information you give Axis.

Acceptable use

  • Use the service only for lawful business purposes.
  • Comply with all laws for the calls, texts, and messages you send, including consent and opt-out rules (TCPA, CAN-SPAM) and the terms of any platform you connect (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, X).
  • Don't use the service to send spam, harass, deceive, or infringe others' rights.
  • You are responsible for content published to your connected accounts, including content Axis drafts and you approve.

Payment

Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe at the plan and any add-on prices shown at sign-up. There is no long-term contract — you may cancel at any time, and cancellation stops future charges. Your phone number and paid features remain active through the end of the paid period.

30-day guarantee. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of your first payment, tell us and we will refund that first payment in full. Contact us by phone, text, or email — no form and no explanation required. This applies once per business, to the first billing period only.

Add-ons added or removed part-way through a billing period are prorated by Stripe: adding one bills only the remainder of the period, and removing one credits the unused part against your next invoice. Outside the 30-day guarantee, fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Phone numbers

Numbers are provisioned through our carrier (Telnyx) for your use while you subscribe. On cancellation, the number may be released. Number portability, where available, is subject to carrier rules.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from Code Savant relating to your account: appointment reminders, confirmations, replies to questions you have asked, and follow-ups to calls we missed. These are customer-care messages, not marketing. Message frequency varies with your activity, and message and data rates may apply.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe and we will send you no further texts; reply START to opt back in, or HELP for help. Opt-outs apply across our whole platform. We do not sell your information, and we never share mobile opt-in information or phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing — see our Privacy Policy.

Separately, when Axis answers on your behalf it sends texts to your customers under your business name. You are the sender of record for those messages and are responsible for having consent from the people you message, and for the content Axis sends on your instructions.

Connected accounts

When you connect a third-party account, you authorize Axis to act on your behalf within the permissions you grant, and you agree to that platform's terms. You can disconnect anytime. We are not responsible for changes those platforms make to their APIs or policies. Where a connection is read-only — as with QuickBooks Online, which Axis reads but never writes to — your records stay yours to maintain: you remain responsible for the accuracy of your own books, and anything Axis reports back is drawn from what that platform returns at the time you ask.

AI output

Axis uses AI, which can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing important output (such as content published on your behalf and replies sent). The service is provided to assist you, not to replace your judgment.

Availability & disclaimer

We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is provided "as is" without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Code Savant is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or leads. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Termination

You may cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; the Privacy Policy governs your data.

Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use means you accept the changes.
